Laura Loroña-Kays' Bio:

Laura is the director of Mantellum Matris Academy (“MMA”, formerly Regina Caeli Academy), a thirty-year-old private school satellite program founded in California to administratively support independent Catholic home educators. The program now enrolls families from across the country and internationally. Since 2013, Laura has led MMA by extensively expanding its outreach, counseling parents on curriculum choice and crafting courses of study, creating transcripts, and assisting students successfully apply to colleges, the military, and religious orders.

Laura’s wide-ranging experience uniquely positions her to assist and guide parents in all aspects and at all levels of home and private education. A veteran home educator herself, Laura and her husband exclusively educated their family’s three sons at home from birth through high school, with each successfully attending college. In addition, she previously held executive-level positions with non-profit arts organizations for which she created educational outreach programs; she served on the launch team for the Classic Learning Test by reaching out to home and private educators; and served as the director of admissions for a Newman Guide recommended college. Laura also speaks at homeschool conferences on Catholic home education and legislative matters concerning religious and educational rights.
